Each media right is broken out within each territory. A blank field is left blank intentionally by the evaluator, although a sale for that particular right may actually occur.

The HIGH TOTAL column is the sum of the four columns immediately to the left. This represents -- in the evaluator's opinion -- the highest amount possible for the particular territory. This amount may not be reached if all of the rights calculated are not included in a final sale.

The LOW TOTAL column is a discount by 50% of the HIGH COLUMN. This amount represents the lowest amount that should be expected from the territory. However, in selling fractionalized rights (such as video only) this amount may even be smaller. Other factors not yet known may occur that might make this actual number even smaller.

The AVERAGE column is a simple averaging of both the HIGH and LOW columns.

TOTAL VALUE is the sum total of each of the above mentioned columns.

The DISCOUNT row is the TOTAL VALUE minus a 10% discount for error, bad debts and poor sales.

FEES are based on standard distribution fees and expenses. This amount can change dramatically depending on the deal you negotiate with a sales agent or distribution entity.

NET is the final "producer's share" after deduction of discounts and commissions.

OTHER TOTALS shows three additional rows calculating certain "lumped territories." These are shown for information only as these territories are sometimes sold in bulk amounts to consortiums or block distributors. The figures in the report do not reflect prices through block buyers. They represent "piece meal" sales territory by territory. This is more time consuming, but almost always more financially rewarding.
